Medway is on my doorstep, and I clean ponds in all five of its towns: Rochester, Strood, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham. The gardens range from Victorian terraces with small fish ponds in Chatham and Gillingham to bigger family gardens in Rainham, Wigmore and Hempstead, and country properties out on the Hoo Peninsula.
This year I've cleared a Rainham pond that had disappeared under duckweed, kept a koi pond with a Japanese bridge clear in Rochester, and in Gillingham cleaned out a koi pond and transformed an old netted garden pond. Whatever state your pond is in, I bring fish-safe equipment, take out the sludge and weed, service the filter and test the water before I leave.
